# AI Assistants

Two different directions:

1. **Integrations - AI Assistants** - Claude / ChatGPT calling *your* Voice Logica agents (company MCP / assistant setup). See [Claude and ChatGPT](https://docs.voicelogica.ai/integrations/claude-chatgpt/).
2. **Agent - Skills - Tools & Workflows - MCP servers** - *this* agent calling a remote MCP server during a call.

Most walkthroughs that say "add MCP" mean the agent-side **MCP servers** card.

Empty state: **No MCP servers yet. Add an MCP server so this agent can call its tools during a call.** Button: **+ Add MCP** / **Add MCP**.

## Add an MCP server (agent)

**Add MCP**: *Add the server first. If it uses OAuth you will be redirected to connect, then come back here to choose tools.*

- **Server name** — Label for this agent.
- **Server URL** — https://...
- **Transport** — e.g. **Streamable HTTP**.
- **Auth** — e.g. **OAuth** or bearer when shown.

Then **Continue**, finish OAuth if prompted, pick tools, enable, save the agent.

## First setup

1. Open the agent - **Tools & Workflows** - **MCP servers** - **Add MCP**.
2. Enter name, URL, transport, auth - **Continue**.
3. Complete OAuth if required, pick tools, enable.
4. Save the agent. Prove on a call that names one of those tools.

## Troubleshooting

**No MCP servers yet stays after Continue**

OAuth may have been canceled, or the URL/transport is wrong. Open **Add MCP** again and confirm the server responds before picking tools.
