# Feature requests

**Feature Requests** is where you suggest what Voice Logica should build next and vote on what others suggested. Every Voice Logica user sees the same list, so the most-voted ideas rise to the top. A feature request is not a support ticket: for something that does not work, [contact support](https://docs.voicelogica.ai/support/contact-support/).

Open it from **Help & support** (the question mark in the top bar) - **Feature Requests**. The page is titled **Feature Requests** (*Vote on the ideas you want us to build next*).

## See the list

- **Most voted** or **Recent** sorts the list.
- **Search feature requests…** finds words in the title and description.
- The status filters (**All**, **Submitted**, **Under Review**, **Planned** and the others) show one status at a time.
- Click a request to read it in full: **Description**, **Submitted**, and when the Voice Logica team has added them, **Review notes**, **Estimated completion** or **Rejection reason**.
- **Load more requests** at the bottom shows the next ones.

## Vote, or remove your vote

Click the vote box on the left of a request (tooltip **Upvote**). The number goes up and the box stays highlighted: you voted. In an open request, the same button reads **Upvote**, then **Voted**.

To take your vote back, click the box again (tooltip **Remove vote**). You have one vote per request. You get an email when a request you voted for changes status.

## Add a request

Search first: if the idea is already there, vote for it instead. A vote on an existing request counts more than a second request that says the same.

1. **Help & support - Feature Requests - + Feature Request.**

Dialog: **New Feature Request** (*Tell us what would make Voice Logica better.*)

2. Fill in the form.

3. **Submit Request.** The request appears in the list with your vote already on it.

- **Title** (required) — A short, descriptive title, for example *Export calls to Excel*.
- **Priority** — **Low**, **Medium**, **High** or **Urgent**: how much it matters to you.
- **Description** — What problem does this solve? Who benefits? Describe what you do today and what you would like to happen instead.

## What the statuses mean

| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| **Submitted** | New. The team has not looked at it yet. |
| **Under Review** | The team is looking at it: what it takes and how many customers need it. |
| **Planned** | Accepted and scheduled. **Estimated completion** shows the expected date when there is one. |
| **In Development** | Being built now. |
| **Completed** | Live. Look for it in **Help & support - What's new**. |
| **Declined** | Not planned. **Rejection reason** says why, and often what to use instead. |
| **Archived** | Closed: done long ago, merged into another request, or out of date. Votes are closed. |

Everyone who voted gets an email when the status changes.

## From Claude or ChatGPT

With [Claude or ChatGPT connected](https://docs.voicelogica.ai/integrations/claude-chatgpt/), ask in your own words:

- *"Are there feature requests about exporting calls?"* - it searches the list and says which ones you already voted for.
- *"Add a feature request for exporting calls to Excel."* - it first shows requests that look the same, so you can vote for one of those; if none matches, it files yours, with your vote.
- *"Vote for the feature request Export calls to Excel."*
- *"Remove my vote from Export calls to Excel."*
- *"What is the status of my feature requests?"*

It always asks before filing a new request. A vote it adds or removes is the same as clicking the vote box in the app, and you can change it there any time.

For IT teams: the tools are `feature_requests_query` (actions `list_feature_requests`, `get_feature_request`) and `feature_requests_execute` (actions `create_feature_request`, `vote_feature_request`). `vote_feature_request` takes `vote: true` to add your vote and `vote: false` to remove it; repeating the same vote changes nothing.

## Through a support ticket

If you describe a new feature in a support ticket, support may ask whether to add it as a feature request. When you say yes, they add your vote to a matching request, or file a new one in your name with a link to the ticket. You then see it, and can remove your vote, on **Feature Requests** like any other.

## Frequently asked questions

**Who can see the feature requests I add in Voice Logica?**
Every Voice Logica user sees the title, the description, the status and the number of votes. Keep customer names, phone numbers and other private details out of the description.

**Should I open a support ticket or a feature request for a new idea?**
A feature request. A support ticket is for something that does not work (**Support** or **Bug Report**). An idea in a ticket ends up as a feature request anyway.

**Can I change or delete a feature request I added?**
Not from the list. Add the extra detail in a new request or a support ticket, and the team updates it. Your vote you can remove yourself at any time.

**When will a feature request be built?**
There is no fixed date per vote. The team looks at votes, how many customers it helps and the effort it takes. **Planned** requests show an **Estimated completion** when there is one, and voters are emailed at each status change.
