# Make Outbound Call

**Make Outbound Call** dials a number from the graph. Needs outbound on the plan and a trunk/caller ID. This is not [initiate-call](https://docs.voicelogica.ai/outbound-calls/api/) from your backend (though both place outbound AI calls).

## What you configure

- **Phone Number** (required) — E.164 including country code. Supports variables (e.g. `{{call.phone_number}}`).
- **Agent** (required) — Which AI agent places the call.
- **SIP Trunk** — Which trunk / caller ID carries the call.
- **Context Info** — Background for the agent on that call; supports variables.

## First setup

1. Add **Make Outbound Call** (often after **On API Call** or **Call Ends**).
2. Set number + agent (+ trunk).
3. **Save & go live**. Confirm **Allow Outbound Calls** and credits.

## Troubleshooting

**Agent is required**

Pick an agent in the dropdown. Empty **Select...** blocks the node.
