# Send Viber

**Send Viber** does one of two things, depending on **Send To**:

- **Phone numbers (Viber message)** - each number gets a Viber message from your verified sender, the same way as [Send Text Message](https://docs.voicelogica.ai/workflow-nodes/sms/). It uses your SMS credits and can fall back to SMS when a number has no Viber.
- **Viber Channel: <name>** - one post to a [Viber Channel](https://docs.voicelogica.ai/agent-configuration/viber-channel/) you connected. Every member of the channel sees it. Use a private channel to send call alerts to your team.

## What you configure

- **Send To** — **Phone numbers (Viber message)**, or one of your connected Viber Channels. Connect channels in **Integrations** → **Channels** → **Viber Channels**.
- **To** (required) — Phone numbers only. Press Enter after each number. Insert variables such as `{{call.phone_number}}`.
- **From** — Phone numbers only. The verified sender the message comes from. Leave it empty to use your company's default SMS sender (Telephony → SMS senders).
- **Message** (required) — The text. Insert variables such as `{{call.summary}}` to personalize it.
- **Fallback to SMS** — Phone numbers only. Sends an SMS instead when the number has no Viber.

## First setup: a call alert in your team's channel

1. Connect a **private** [Viber Channel](https://docs.voicelogica.ai/agent-configuration/viber-channel/) with only your team in it.
2. In a workflow that runs [on call end](https://docs.voicelogica.ai/workflows/on-call-end/), add **Send Viber**.
3. Set **Send To** to your channel and write the **Message**, for example: `New call from {{call.phone_number}}: {{call.summary}}`.
4. **Save & go live**, turn the workflow on for the agent, make a test call and check the channel.

Every member of a channel sees every post. Never send customer details, such as names, phone numbers or call summaries, to a **public** channel.

## Troubleshooting

**Why does my Send Viber node fail with ‘Viber channel not found for this company’?**

The Viber Channel the node posts to was disconnected. Connect it again in **Integrations** → **Channels**, then pick it again in the node's **Send To** field.

**Why does my Send Viber node fail with ‘no sender’?**

Viber messages to phone numbers need a verified sender. Pick one in the node's **From** field, or set your company's default SMS sender in **Telephony → SMS senders**.

**Why does the Send Viber node say Message is required?**

The **Message** of the Send Viber node is empty. Write the text, then insert any variables you need.

## Next Steps

[Viber Channel](https://docs.voicelogica.ai/agent-configuration/viber-channel/) - connect a channel and post by hand.
[Send Text Message](https://docs.voicelogica.ai/workflow-nodes/sms/) - plain SMS.
