Switch from Another Platform
Moving an agent to Voice Logica takes the same pieces you already have: the prompt, the knowledge, the tools it calls, and the phone numbers. Build and test the new agent first, then move the numbers last, so callers never hit a gap.
1. Create the agent from your website
Section titled “1. Create the agent from your website”Sign up and give your business website: the first agent is built from it. Or connect Claude or ChatGPT and do it from the chat. See Your first agent or Claude and ChatGPT.
2. Transfer the prompt
Section titled “2. Transfer the prompt”Paste your existing system prompt into the agent’s instructions, then remove anything specific to the old platform: its variable syntax, its tool names, and instructions about speech or latency settings. Keep the behaviour (what the agent should do and say), and move facts such as prices, hours and policies into knowledge in the next step. See Build a reliable agent.
3. Move the knowledge
Section titled “3. Move the knowledge”Upload the same documents and add the website pages. See Add sources.
4. Reconnect the tools
Section titled “4. Reconnect the tools”- Calendar, CRM, e-shop, ERP or courier: connect the built-in integration instead of your own webhook. See Integrations.
- Your own API: call it from a workflow or a custom API.
- Your MCP servers: add them as agent tools.
- Transfers to people: set them up in Transfer.
5. Test before any number moves
Section titled “5. Test before any number moves”Generate test scenarios from the agent and run them as text or real phone calls, graded automatically. Call the agent yourself from the browser or by phone. See Build a reliable agent.
6. Move the phone numbers
Section titled “6. Move the phone numbers”- Twilio, Telnyx or Plivo numbers: point the same numbers at Voice Logica with a SIP trunk; presets fill in the settings. See Your own carrier.
- Greek carrier lines: see Greek carriers.
- An office PBX: route the calls you choose to the agent. See Connect your PBX.
- Simplest: forward your existing number to a Voice Logica number.
Keep the old platform running until the first real calls look right in Calls, then turn it off.
Assistance with the move
