Connect To External Service
Connect To External Service is the HTTP lookup / write node. Mid-call, keep the request under about a second.
What you configure
Section titled “What you configure”UrlREQUIRED
Target URL. Use Insert variable for values from earlier nodes.
Query Params
+ Add Param — appended as ?key=value.
Headers
+ Add Header — HTTP headers; variables allowed in values.
Content-Type
e.g. application/json.
Accept
e.g. /.
Method
GET, POST, and other verbs the control offers.
Send Notification on Failure
Optional notify if the call fails.
Describe the JSON you get back (response schema / sample) when the UI offers it so later nodes can read fields.
First setup
Section titled “First setup”- From Work Flow Triggered, add Connect To External Service.
- Set Url and Method. Add params/headers as needed.
- Wire the success transition to AI Response to Caller or another node.
- Save & go live, attach if this is a phone trigger, then prove.
Troubleshooting
Section titled “Troubleshooting”A URL is required
The Url field is empty or invalid. Paste a full https URL, then insert variables into the path or query.
