Multiple Choice

Multiple Choice Decision is one exit per case, plus Default Case. Cases run top to bottom. The first match wins.

Why this node

Billing vs support vs sales. If/then is only two ports.

Add Case. Each non-default case needs a complete condition (same builder as If/then) or Save stays blocked. Default needs no condition — it is the catch-all. Wire a node on Default or Run test ends with nothing matched.

First setup — three inquiry types

1. During Call parameter inquiry_type (or an API field).

2. Multiple Choice Decision. Cases: Billing, Support, Sales — each equals the value the model actually writes. Leave Default Case.

3. Each port: a lookup, a transfer, or AI Response. Default: ask them to say it again.

4. Save & go live. Run test should name the matched case. Then a live call.

What “broken” looks like

• Needs setup — a named case has an incomplete condition.
• Always Default — the value is bill and the case tests billing.
• Run test: no case matched — Default is unwired.
