Dropbox gives the agent your shared files. It can find a price list or form while the caller waits and send a download link, create a folder per customer, or ask the caller to upload documents through a Dropbox file request. Integrations - Catalogue - Dropbox - Authorize opens Dropbox’s consent screen in a new window. One connection is shared by the whole company.
What you need before you start
Section titled “What you need before you start”- A Dropbox account that can see the files the agent should use. Files the agent uploads, moves or deletes are changed in this account, so a dedicated company account is a good choice.
- Pop-ups allowed for Voice Logica in your browser. Authorization runs in a pop-up window.
First setup
Section titled “First setup”- Integrations - Catalogue - Dropbox - Authorize.
- Sign in to Dropbox in the pop-up and approve access. The window closes and Dropbox moves to Connected.
- Open My Agents - your agent - Skills - Tools & Workflows, turn the Dropbox tool on and open its settings.
- Pick the operations. List files, Search files and Get download link are ticked by default. Add write operations, such as Upload file, Create folder or Delete file, only if the agent really needs them.
- Save the agent.
- Prove it: call the agent and ask for a file by name. The agent should find it and offer a link.
What the agent can do

- List the files and folders in a path.
- Search files by name, and by content where Dropbox indexes it.
- Read a file’s details, such as size and last modified date.
- Create a temporary download link to read out or send to the caller.
- List the shared links that already exist for a path.
- Read the connected account’s name, email and storage, to confirm the connection.
Store and organise (only the operations you enabled)
- Upload a call document, such as a recording or a form, to a path.
- Create a folder, for example one per caller or per case.
- Create a shared link for a file or folder.
- Create a file request so the caller can upload documents themselves.
- Move, rename, copy or delete a file or folder.
Troubleshooting
Section titled “Troubleshooting”Authorize does nothing or the card never shows as connected
The pop-up was probably blocked. Allow pop-ups for Voice Logica, then click Authorize again and finish the Dropbox sign-in in the same browser.
Dropbox shows Reconnect on Connected
Voice Logica could no longer refresh access, usually because the app was removed from the Dropbox account’s connected apps. Click Reconnect and approve access again. Until then the agent’s Dropbox operations fail.
The agent cannot find a file you can see in Dropbox
The connected account may not be the one that owns or shares the file. Check which account is shown on Connected, and share the folder with that account if needed. Search also depends on Dropbox’s own index, so a file uploaded seconds ago may not be found yet.
